Angus

36 x 24" Gallery wrapped 1 1/2" canvas, acrylic, mixed media

I love this piece, it feels like my favourite, signature piece.  I fashioned it after Angus in the movie, Ferdinand, the Scottish Highland bull who kept running into things cause his eyes were always covered with his hair.  It's an adorable movie and I love how the splashes of florescent pinks and the hints gold leaf make the colours pop.  I also had fun creating the background with a pouring technique then covering it with white and cream brushstrokes.  After a few coats of varnish on the bull, I finished the piece with my signature SB stamp in the bottom right corner.
